The modern room was exceptionally comfortable. the central location by the Filini restaurant was convenient. - Enjoyed cool champagnes and coffee at the champagne bar.

I enjoyed pudding and eggs at breakfast.

Enjoyed staying here as a great starting point to explore the area. the nice folks at the front desk made check-in a breeze. the room was spacious, quiet, and had all the essentials - air conditioning, a coffee maker, and a mini-fridge. the breakfast spread was vast and affordable. 🌟

The restaurant here was great with a mellow atmosphere making the experience more relaxed than the spa. We both ordered excellent dishes. Really kind staff, provided information if needed. the location was great, close to bars and restaurants.

Reasonably large reasonable value hotel with a great location near to the compact town centre as well as an embankment. More than really kind and nice staff both at check-in and check-out.

Every detail there was very good, including staff and food. The staff members were pleasant and exceptional and suggested local places. Overall it was immaculately clean and well-appointed with riverside view.

I booked a premium king room with access to the health club, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice and hot with plenty of silverware, and the location was unbeatable.

My partner and I decided to choose this hotel to celebrate our 2nd anniversary together. The staff on the front desks were excellent, offering help and advice whenever we wanted it. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, you really couldn't ask for a hotel to be cleaner. The staff were very polite and the location of the hotel was great too as the main pubbing area was a 10 minute walk, as was the railway station.

To begin with the hotel was rather expensive, especially for the facilities on offer. The restaurant was extortionate, and very plain. The menu is very bland, and the portions you get are very small. The double bed we booked were 2 single beds pushed together and the quilt (duvet) were 2 single's put together.

Great views from the spacious room, and the convenient tea tray was a nice touch. the central location made it easy to explore the charming sights nearby, like the beautiful cathedral and city center. 🌟

Its location and relaxation

The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect as the centre of Durham was within 5 minutes walking distance. Couldn't criticise anything. The food, facilities etc were perfect. One of the best hotels I've stayed in for some time! The room upgrade is worth considering and definitely value for money.
